BPAY is an Australian electronic bill payment system launched in November 1997. It enables customers to pay registered billers through online, mobile, or telephone banking. Operated by BPAY Pty Limited, which is owned by ANZ, CBA, NAB, and Westpac. The scheme is accepted by over 60,000 businesses and more than 150 financial institutions. It processes approximately 1.6 million payments daily and also operates the Osko real-time payments service on the New Payments Platform.
