4G service in the DC area has been inconsistent to none. Took me 3 days to get my cellular back up and running when connectivity to towers ceased. Trying to get through Verizon's Cellular Customer Service telephone "firewall" is more difficult than attempting to cancel a timeshare contract. I have been with Verizon since it was still a part of AT&T and am a shareholder. Their AI Chatbot runs in circles. Don't waste your time.
