About PSEG Long Island Electric Utility

PSEG Long Island operates electric transmission and distribution on Long Island, NY under contract with LIPA since 2014. The company serves 1.1 million electric customers across Nassau, Suffolk, and Rockaway Peninsula. PSEG manages 18,000 miles of power lines, 4,900 miles of underground cable, and 170 substations. Following Superstorm Sandy, the company invested heavily in storm hardening, smart grid technology, and tree-trimming programs. PSEG supports offshore wind (South Fork Wind Farm), community solar, energy efficiency, and EV charging infrastructure.
